Okay so i shall just start with a random review of the anime K-ON!
So i actually completed season 1 (K-ON!) and season 2 (K-ON!!) some time ago, and there's a movie that's gonna come out soon ^_^
K-on is a really cute show, and it falls under the genres comedy and school life.
So the main characters of this show (at first) are:
Mio Akiyama (bottom left), Tsumugi(Mugi) Kotobuki (top left), Ritsu Tainaka (top right) and Yui Hirasawa (bottom right).
Mio plays the Bass, and sings sometimes (and sings really well too ^^). Mugi plays the keyboard, Ritsu(Ricchan) plays the drums, and Yui plays the guitar, and sings most of the time (has a very cute voice).
The story starts off with the 4 of them in their first year of high school, and only Ritsu and Mio knew each other. The school's light music club was going to be closed down due to lack of members, and so Ritsu tries to save the club. However, they need a minimum of 4 members, and they only had 2. Soon Mugi joins, and then Yui. Yui has no knowledge whatsoever in playing intruments or reading music scores, but since they were desperate, they let her join. But they soon find out that Yui, even though unable to read sheet music, can play a tune after hearing it. Soon, Yui learns how to play a guitar, after buying one.
So, Ritsu's the leader, she's really cheerful, and always gets hit by Mio. Yui's like the really cute person in the group, she's pretty random and has a easy-going personality(her younger sister is so much more mature than she is, haha) her grades are pretty bad too. Mugi comes from a wealty family, and always brings cakes, tea, and provides the lodging when they have summer holiday training. Mio is the most popular among all (i guess), and has a fan-club, she is also scared of many things, yep.
Okay so there is lots of randomness and such, so i'll show random pictures! ^^
(BTW, the lady next to Mio is the club's advisor, Sawako Yamanaka. But they just call her Sawa-chan. And Sawa-chan used to play the guitar in this school last time, very punk. :O)
So most of the time, the club will eat delicious cakes and drink tea(brought by Mugi).
Halfway through season 1 (After the 4 of them become second years), a new character is added:
Azusa Nakano, a first year. (Azu-nyan :3) She plays the guitar.
She's usually the most serious among all, and she admires Mio becuase of her maturity and stuff :) But she likes cakes :D She's also in the same class as Yui's sister, Ui.
Uh, i don't know what else to say...everyone has their own tastes but if you like comedy animes with cute girls inside that look quite chibi-ish, go for this :3 Yui will love you for it :)
